Updates and details for Extension of last date for submission of Common Proficiency Test (CPT):
CPT is scheduled to be held on 17th December, 2017. Students who have registered for the Common Proficiency Course on or before 25th October, 2017 and fulfill the eligibility requirements are eligible to apply for the exam. The last date for submission of exam application forms for CPT is 25th October 2017.
It has been brought to our notice that many candidates could not submit their applications for the test, on time, on account of their 12th Std. exams being in progress, across several states.

For the benefit of such candidates, it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of examination application forms in respect of CPT to be held in the month of December 2017, as a special case.
Accordingly, candidates can now submit their exam forms for the CPT to be held in Dec 2017 online at http://icaiexam.icai.org, from 4th October 2017 upto 25th October 2017. Candidates are advised to note that physical exam application forms, i.e. OMR forms has been discontinued.
So also, last date for submission of the print outs (PDF) of the exam application, with the photographs and signatures duly attested, at the designated offices of ICAI, by those whose photographs and signatures are not displayed on the screen. Other candidates whose photographs and signatures are displayed on the screen while they apply on-line, need not submit the physical print out of the exam form.
